Low Income Vets may be eligible for Bi-Monthly Veterans Benefits

The average wartime veteran can have difficulty transitioning to civilian life after time in combat. On top of that, vets who are disabled suffer increased hardships because the tasks of daily living and medical care often overwhelm them financially. It is for these veterans that the Veterans Administration offers the Aid and Attendance "improved pension".

The Aid & Attendance Pension is available for Vets and surviving spouses who need regular assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, medication dosing or more to receive bi monthly financial assistance. This falls under assisted living facilies as well as private in home care.

Qualified applicants include all of the following:
Vets who are 65+ or disabled
Proven low income
Require daily care for living
